About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing instruments and equipment in a laboratory or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and calibrate instrumentation and equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams to ensure successful implementation and use of our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Relevant electronic or engineering qualifications and experience in a laboratory or industrial setting.
  • Calibration and maintenance experience with instrumentation and equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality outcomes.
