About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our Platform / Marine Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engineering and waterfront support to our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and review technical responses to production teams.
  • Undertake analysis, design, development, and preparation efforts for technical instructions.
  • Conduct maintenance and defect investigations and analysis.
  • Develop technical instructions for urgent defect rectification.
  • Ensure product safety implications and consequences are considered throughout the engineering lifecycle.
  • Review technical instructions and engineering change requests within annual work packages for technical issues.
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance.
  • An accredited bachelor's degree in engineering, under the Washington Accord.
  • Previous experience in a similar role with design, operation, or maintenance of complex/large vessels is desirable but not essential.
About You

You will be a seasoned engineer with a background in electrical, mechanical, or naval architecture, and a strong technical expertise to support our operations and maintenance of vessels and supporting systems.

Your analytical skills will enable you to assess requests for variances and determine whether proposed changes have merit.

With well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and a team player attitude, you will enjoy collaborating with your immediate and broader unit to achieve desired results.
