Production Operations Coordinator


Job Overview

The role of Production Operations Coordinator focuses on ensuring optimal warehouse productivity and timely dispatch of store orders. The incumbent will work closely with the automation team to identify trends in performance deviations, analyze root causes, and provide remedies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a customer-centric culture within the team by leading, coaching, and mentoring direct reports to achieve excellent outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent practices exist within the warehouse and across the network.
  • Participate in system testing including readiness and commissioning activities.
  • Develop documentation e.g. work instructions, SOPs and processes.
  • Manage and monitor operational KPI's to ensure resource planning is within budget and meets volume forecasts.
  • Drive engagement at all levels of the business, facilitate the sharing of ideas in a way that supports achievement of key measures and drives continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in Supply Chain or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in FMCG, Distribution, retail, people management.
  • Knowledge of relevant OH&S and RTW legislation.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Ability to deliver results through cross-functional working.
  • High level of effectiveness in team situations under pressure.
