Safety and Injury Prevention Specialist

This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of injury management and return to work strategies across both organisations.
- Foster a proactive recovery and return-to-work culture by delivering targeted education.
- Coordinate workers compensation claims, with timely and accurate management.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing expert guidance on both work-related and non-work-related injuries or illnesses.
- Managing workers' compensation claims in line with legislation and organisational policies.
- Collaborating with employees, leaders, health professionals, and external stakeholders to facilitate safe and sustainable return to work outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree or relevant postgraduate qualification in Allied Health, or substantial experience in occupational rehabilitation or return to work.
- VIC RTW Co-ordinator certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to gain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
