Prevent Harm and Support Recovery

This is a challenging role that requires expertise in injury management to prevent harm and support employees through recovery and reintegration into the workplace after an injury.

The successful candidate will provide expert guidance on both work-related and non-work-related injuries or illnesses, manage workers' compensation claims in line with legislation and organisational policies, collaborate with employees, leaders, health professionals, and external stakeholders to facilitate safe and sustainable return to work outcomes, lead complex case management and injury-related investigations, and deliver education and training to build organisational capability in early intervention and recovery-at-work principles.

  • Develop and implement injury prevention strategies to reduce risk and promote a safe and sustainable workplace.
  • Foster a proactive recovery and return-to-work culture by delivering targeted education and training programs.
  • Collaborate with employees, leaders, and external stakeholders to identify and address barriers to return to work.
About You

We are seeking a skilled professional who has a degree or relevant postgraduate qualification in Allied Health, occupational rehabilitation, or return to work, and substantial experience in injury management and return to work. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
