Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support the delivery of infrastructure and renewable energy projects across NSW.

This is an exciting time in the energy industry with increasing transmission interconnection between states and development of renewable energy zones.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and providing practical advice on infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

Your expertise in environmental legislation, spatial systems, and stakeholder engagement will help drive sustainable outcomes across our network.

You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, and regulators to develop and monitor environmental management plans, conduct inspections, and support approvals.

About You
  • A degree in Environmental Engineering, Engineering Science, Natural Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental and safety legislation relevant to electricity networks or similar infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in spatial systems and software to support environmental planning and decision-making.
  • Practical experience in assessing environmental impacts and resolving property-related issues with stakeholders.
  • A willingness and ability to travel frequently across NSW, including overnight stays at regional sites.
