
Teacher - Mathematics Specialist

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our educational team as a teacher in mathematics. You will be responsible for delivering a differentiated curriculum and striving for high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating positive futures for students.
As a member of the team, you will ideally be a conscientious, flexible and innovative teacher committed to the development of the whole student. You will be actively involved within the school and wider community, reflective of your teaching practices and committed to evidence-based decision making and differentiation.
Key Responsibilities- To teach secondary mathematics and be knowledgeable of the Western Australian Curriculum.
- To deliver a differentiated curriculum and strive for high-quality teaching and learning.
- To build positive relationships with students and be passionate about creating positive futures for students.
- A degree in education or related field.
- Registration as a qualified teacher in Australia or New Zealand.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attractive Country Teaching Program Allowance.

- 12 weeks' vacation leave (school holidays).
- More than 20 days of other leave, including sick and carers' leave.

Teachers may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return. At the end of the mobility, teachers may return to their substantive role or transfer permanently to this school.
