Job Opportunity in General Surgery
The role of a General Surgery Fellow involves managing the day-to-day operations of private and public inpatients and outpatients at an allocated site or facility. This position requires providing after-hours emergency cover as determined by the relevant work unit.
Responsibilities include undertaking approved general surgical outpatient and inpatient services, participating in on-call rosters, and assisting with quality improvement and service enhancement within the Department of Surgery.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in teaching and research activities and will be expected to provide leadership and mentoring for surgical registrars and Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) in training.
