Surgery Specialist Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgery Specialist to join our team at Launceston General Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the allocated site/facility.

As a Surgery Specialist, you will provide after-hours emergency cover at the allocated site/facility as determined by the Head of Department.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our surgical services.

The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • General, provisional, or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable)
