Energy Transition Leader
The Principal Transmission Line Engineer will play a key role in shaping the energy transition journey to net-zero carbon emissions by delivering innovative technical solutions to clients in high voltage power generation, transmission and distribution.
The successful candidate will work on some of Australia's largest transmission projects, helping to shape the transmission backbone of the network and open up renewable energy zones. They will also be responsible for mentoring and developing junior team members in a dynamic, supportive and flexible environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading design teams and formulating design solutions for transmission projects from 66kV to 500kV
- Working closely with clients to understand their project brief and technical requirements
- Implementing innovative solutions and contributing to the power business in a broader sense
- Mentoring emerging engineers and providing coaching and support
- Having a broad range of skills beyond transmission line engineering
Requirements
- A strong understanding of engineering disciplines, regulations, policies and procedures
- Project management implementation capabilities and experience in integration for complex systems
- Knowledge and experience in PLS-CADD or TOWER is required
