We're passionate about creating a better future through technology and innovation at Optus. As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping our strategy and executing plans to win new business within the FSI Account segment.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and win new business within designated large key accounts.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
  3. Achieve orders targets and maintain high sales activity levels to generate an effective opportunity pipeline.
  4. Build and exceed customer satisfaction through strong customer relationships.
  5. Maintain accurate and complete CRM system records and provide timely reports to management.

About You

  • Extensive experience in relationship/strategic selling, preferably in Telecommunications.
  • Proven track record in handling key technical relationships and selling strategic business solutions.
  • Strong planning, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex organisational and political customer structures.
  • Strong team-working skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM systems.
