About the Role:

The Head of Retail Media is a senior leadership position responsible for creating a Retail Media offering that drives revenue growth for Bunnings through Retail Media Channels and related product sales.

This role leads a cross-functional team across Bunnings to achieve strong business outcomes as per the project roadmap. Key components of the role include:

  • Identifying, implementing, and operationalizing Marketing Channels for the Retail Media Network (RMN) offering, including ongoing management of these channels, such as product improvements, yield management, and sell-through.
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to expand Bunnings' retail media presence by identifying new growth opportunities and driving revenue. Working with Data and Analytics to enable the data and analytics requirements to support the launch and operation of the Retail Media Network, including customer attributes for audience creation and measurement and campaign reporting.
  • Leading the Retail Media team in developing engaging Retail media proposals.
  • Creating customer-led strategic and integrated go-to-market approaches for suppliers.
  • Driving product innovation to enhance the retail media product suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive Retail Media strategy to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Leading a cross-functional team to achieve business outcomes and deliver results.
  • Collaborating with Data and Analytics to enable data-driven decision making and drive business growth.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and internal teams.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Retail Media and Marketing.

Requirements:

  • Relevant communications degree.
  • Extensive experience within a Marketing and Retail Media role.
  • Strong and demonstrated leadership experience leading large teams.
  • Experience managing sales forecasts and pipelines.
  • Strong relationship building and demonstrated influencing skills.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to drive business results.
  • Strong financial acumen, managing budgets of a large scale.
