The role of a Cook involves working closely with chefs and dietitians to prepare and cook meals that are not only delicious but also nutritious. This requires strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and a customer service ethos.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with residents and their families, understanding their individual needs and preferences. You will be part of a supportive environment that values continuous improvement and strives to deliver exceptional care and service.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking and has a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent. If you have a proactive approach to work, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents
  • Work closely with chefs and dietitians to develop menus and ensure nutritional standards are met
  • BUILD strong relationships with residents and their families
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Implement improvements to work practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
