About the Role
  • Design and maintain robust protection schemes to ensure safe fault clearance across the network.
  • Conduct operational protection checks and prepare Substation Protection Datasheets.
  • Provide expert advice to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
  • Tech Leadership: Lead technical investigations and assess equipment failures to ensure high-performance protection system.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Standards: Coordinate protection schemes with Trans Grid, HV customers, and power authorities.
  • Strategic Protection Planning: Manage protection settings in line with ISO 55001.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • C Class Vehicle Licence (up to 4.5 tonnes GVM).
