Job Summary

The Unit Trust Operations Associate is a key role within the Asset Management team at Anton Murray Consulting. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the team and the timely delivery of daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Team Manager in overseeing the end-to-end processes for Unit Trust investments, including trade processing, distributions, management fee rebates, month-end reporting, daily reconciliations, data entry processing, and settlement.
  • Handle complex ad-hoc requests within the team, ensuring that all instructions and requests are checked, authenticated, and processed on the same day of receipt.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring the highest level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including investment managers, portfolio managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, ensuring that the team is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years' work-related experience in the financial services industry, with a strong technical knowledge of:
  • Unlisted Unit Trust trade end-to-end processes
  • Alternatives investments administration
  • Unlisted Unit Trust products, platforms, and systems
  • Custody or investment management operations
  • Prior experience checking and reviewing staff members' work
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
