We are seeking an experienced SMSF professional to lead our Self-Managed Superannuation Fund team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SMSF administration, compliance, and supervision. They will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and lodgment of SMSF annual returns, financial statements, and other compliance documents.

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the SMSF team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery
  • Oversee the preparation and lodgment of SMSF annual returns, financial statements, and other compliance documents
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on complex SMSF matters
  • Conduct regular quality checks on SMSF work to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
Required Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in SMSF administration, compliance, and supervision
  • Strong knowledge of SMSF legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in SMSF software platforms and tools
Key Responsibilities

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to:

  • Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies to resolve SMSF-related issues and queries
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of SMSF processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Monitor changes in SMSF legislation and regulations, and ensure the team is up-to-date with current requirements
