Senior SMSF Accountant Job Summary

The role of Senior SMSF Accountant is crucial in delivering compliance services to our clients, encompassing Private Clients and Wealth Management teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both accounting and wealth management aspects of the business.

  • Provide support and assistance to our offshore team with the preparation of SMSF Financial Statements, Annual Returns, and Member's Statements.
  • Review Financial Reports and offer assistance with queries on client work.
  • Conduct data entry and processing within BGL360.
  • Prepare and administer SMSF BAS, IAS, and PAYG Payment Summaries.
  • Liaise with external auditors and other bodies such as the ATO and ASIC.
  • Manage own workflow and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Offer support to our administration team with SMSF related documentation.
  • Provide support to the wider team with Superannuation queries and escalate any SIS compliance issues.
