Job Title: Support Professional

At Right at Home Gold Coast Northern Rivers, we seek a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as eating, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Provide medication reminders, assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises, and offer companionship activities like reading, music, and puzzles.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Age 18 or older
  • English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)
  • Valid open driver's license with comprehensive insurance
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged, Disability (or equivalent)
  • NDIS Workers Screening Card and NDIS Orientation Module Certificate
  • COVID-19 vaccination (two doses)
  • 100 points of identification
  • Right to work in Australia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months of experience as a Personal Support Worker/Assistant in healthcare (in homes or facilities)

  • Dependability
  • Practical thinking
