Rural Liaison Clinical Nurse

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of patients while growing your own clinical and leadership expertise in a supportive, collaborative environment.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient-centred nursing care across various health service settings. This role offers the chance to develop from a competent to a proficient practitioner, with accountability for your practice and delegated activities, as well as supporting the professional growth of less experienced staff.

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care and improve health outcomes for rural patients. Your responsibilities will include case management, supporting quality and safety initiatives, and contributing to projects that ensure we meet our key performance indicators.

This role requires an experienced and dedicated Nurse/Midwife who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality care.

  • We are seeking a Registered or eligible Nurse with the Nursing Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate.
  • The successful applicant must be able to communicate effectively, solve problems, resolve conflicts, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proven experience in prioritising workloads, working independently, and providing guidance to students and less experienced staff.
  • A strong knowledge of relevant legislation, professional standards, contemporary healthcare issues, and the South Australian Public Health System is essential.

At our organisation, we value diversity and inclusion, and we strongly encourage applications from people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, culturally diverse backgrounds, disability, all genders, and the LGBTQI+ community.
