Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to patients across various specialties, including paediatrics, surgery, emergency, maternity, and outpatient services. Collaboration with a diverse team of specialists, including on-site paediatricians, surgeons, physicians, obstetricians, anaesthetists, and more, will be essential in achieving exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
  • Participate in emergency response participation in a 24/7 roster, including Code Blue calls.
  • Contribute to teaching and mentorship initiatives, training junior doctors, medical students, and other health professionals.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance best-practice patient care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Fellowship with ACRRM or RACGP, or eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in managing adult and paediatric emergencies and inpatient services.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
