Public Housing Support Specialist

The Thrive Case Officer is a vital position within our public housing service, supporting tenants in remote Aboriginal communities.
This role involves providing tenancy advice, case management and education to residents. Additionally, the successful candidate will conduct home assessments and develop care plans tailored to families.
Main Responsibilities:- Advise clients on tenancy matters, manage cases, and deliver educational services
- Carry out home evaluations and create customized care plans for families
- Support clients with rent deductions, arrears management, and property maintenance reporting
- Foster strong relationships with residents, community members, and stakeholders
- Contribute to program development and service improvement initiatives
- Monitor and report on case progress against established KPIs
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as cultural sensitivity and the ability to handle multiple systems while maintaining accurate records.
They should also be able to provide hands-on support to clients, including cleaning properties and performing garden maintenance if required.
