We are seeking a skilled Bid Manager to join our Australasian Bid Management Team on a 7-month contract.
This role is responsible for managing the production of business proposals and tenders, ensuring successful WTW proposals through collaborative work with technical experts and specialists.
The successful candidate will be responsible for project managing, writing, editing, and reviewing tender submissions, ensuring they are of exceptional standard, delivered on time, and on brand.
Key Tasks:
- Project management of tender responses, including liaising with stakeholders and following up on responses.
- Reviewing RFP documents to ensure specifications and submission requirements are clearly understood.
- Leading tender kick-off meetings and follow-up meetings as necessary.
- Preparing tender framework response documents, including populating standard information and developing graphics.
- Working with business subject matter experts to write bespoke responses articulating strategy and value.
- Reviewing and editing content provided by stakeholders to ensure understanding and consistency of tone.
- Assisting in the preparation of presentation materials for tender presentations and rehearsing with the tender team.
- Cultivating a web-based tender and tender assets library containing current and archived tenders and assets.
- Maintaining a philosophy of continuous improvement to enhance the WTW tender process and ensure market-leading proposals.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in a bid management role, preferably in the professional services sector.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with Adobe Design package (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
- Experience with Bid Management software such as Loopio or Ombud is highly regarded.
- An exceptional eye for detail and creative flair to interpret concepts and content into graphics.
- Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Confidence in interacting professionally with all levels within the business and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Strong project management methodologies and life cycles knowledge.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong research skills and ability to operate under pressure.
- A driven individual with a "can-do" attitude and plenty of initiative.
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
