Job Description:

As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing commercial strategies that align with the organisation's goals. Your key responsibility will be to manage the tendering process, ensuring compliance with Defence procurement requirements. To achieve this, you will prepare and review Requests for Tender (RFT) documentation, guaranteeing alignment with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to support the tendering process.
  • Prepare and review RFT documentation to ensure compliance with Defence procurement requirements.
  • Manage commercial aspects of bid responses, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial objectives.
  • Provide expert commercial advice to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in commercial management, contract negotiation, and procurement within a Defence setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ASDEFCON, Defence procurement frameworks, and RFT processes.
  • Ability to review, interpret, and assess commercial and financial aspects of tender responses.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
  • Active NV1 security clearance is an essential requirement.
