Our Opportunity

This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager and involves partnering with the business across states to ensure compliance with accounting standards. You will work across different functions, including Sales & Project Managers teams for reporting and forecasting, tracking business performance, and providing strategic financial insight and support to local teams.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, accurate, and insightful information to drive business performance and enable tactical and strategic decisions.
  • Collect budgeting, forecasting, and outlook processes for P&L, balance sheet, and working capital/cashflow.
  • Take ownership of financials and work closely with Operations team for Service and Install, providing day-to-day support where required.
  • Identify and track KPIs and operational measures to enable business results.
  • Perform monthly reviews with ops team to ensure projects have no risk and any identified risks and opportunities are addressed.
  • Be a local support for existing team in Melbourne on Finance and ensure correct reporting from all functions to align with JCI standards.
  • Involve in month-end activities, including POC review with Senior Business Finance Manager and closing month end to meet deadlines.
  • Drive operational and process improvements in FP&A function and lead reporting standardization and automation across the organization.
  • Involve in standardizing processes in the business unit under control.
  • Evaluate department overheads and prepare reports to assess branch performance.
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate accounting policies/standards.
  • Become an expert in ERP, explore current reports, and involve with ERP consultant to drive standardized reports.

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, with CA/CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Deliver high-quality support for the ops team.
  • Previous experience in POC, OS, and Pronto is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to influence without authority, and comfortable interacting with colleagues at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, spoken and written, able to focus on big-picture topics and turn complex concepts into simple ideas.
  • Ambitious, self-driven, and highly motivated individual who can thrive in ambiguity, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with offshore functions and/or different cultures is preferred.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
