The Role

You'll be responsible for delivering an efficient and cost-effective food service, with smooth day-to-day operations in our commercial kitchen.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high culinary standards throughout daily kitchen operations
  • Ensuring quality food preparation and presentation meets dietary needs, including allergies and special requests
  • Managing staff rosters, inventory ordering, stock control, and upholding strict food safety compliance
  • Leading, mentoring, and training your kitchen team to build a motivated, skilled, and cohesive crew
  • Driving recruitment and onboarding to create a strong and reliable workforce

You'll deliver seamless service that guarantees every guest enjoys an outstanding dining experience.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous Head Chef experience and cooking in a similar environment
  • Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management
  • Proven experience in planning and developing menus
  • Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Ability to prep and organise ahead
  • HACCP experience essential, with a high emphasis on food hygiene
  • Current driver's license

Other Information

This role may require heavy lifting (up to 20kg), kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals and machinery.
