Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Officer to manage and oversee direct-to-consumer transactions and payment gateway operations within our e-commerce and online accounts.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in accounts receivable management and reconciliation, with a strong understanding of e-commerce accounts receivables. They will be responsible for conducting regular reviews of our e-commerce and payment gateway account ledgers, identifying abnormal postings and uncovering incorrect billing, flagged orders, and failed transactions.

Additionally, the successful candidate will handle payment gateway chargebacks with finesse and efficiency, conducting reference and investigation checks to ensure fair and satisfactory resolutions. They will also identify opportunities for process improvement within our transaction management and payment gateway systems.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing direct-to-consumer transactions and payment gateway operations
  • Conducting regular reviews of e-commerce and payment gateway account ledgers
  • Identifying abnormal postings and uncovering incorrect billing, flagged orders, and failed transactions
  • Handling payment gateway chargebacks with finesse and efficiency
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams to effectively manage debt recovery efforts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, demonstrating expertise in accounts receivable management and reconciliation experience
  • Previous experience in an e-commerce business unit, preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry
  • Proficiency in backend systems such as SAP, Hybris, and payment gateways
