Accounting Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Receivable Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing cash payments and receipts, reconciliations, debt collections, and monthly statements.

  • Cash payment/receipts: Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer payments and generate relevant reports.
  • Reconciliations: Regularly reconcile all accounts to ensure accuracy and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Debt collections: Develop and implement effective strategies for collecting outstanding debts from customers.
  • Monthly statements: Prepare and send accurate and detailed monthly statements to clients.
  • Liaising with clients/agents: Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and agents to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Assisting in other accounting functions when required: Perform additional accounting tasks as needed to support the team and organization.

The successful candidate will possess strong numerical skills, attention to detail, accurate data entry skills, and exceptional communication skills. Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable within Freight Forwarding or Logistics is highly desirable, along with proficiency in CargoWise and computer literacy in MS Office.
