Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for ensuring seamless and efficient receipt of payments from clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocation of daily cash receipts to relevant customer accounts
- Processing of bank deposits and reconciliations
- Weekly banking deposits and remittance advice coordination
- Liaison with sales team on aging accounts and provision of monthly statements
- Release of orders and setting up new customer accounts
- Generation of weekly cash flow reports and end-of-month forecasts
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable/credit control
- Proficiency in SAP or Dynamics preferred
- Self-motivated individual with a positive work ethic
- Attention to detail and accuracy essential
- Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
As a permanent standalone credit officer, you will be responsible for various functions including daily allocations, banking of cash/cheques, bank reconciliations, and weekly banking deposits. You will also need to co-ordinate remittance advise, liaise extensively with sales advising on aging accounts, and provide monthly statements of accounts.
