Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
">About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional accounts receivable services, including responding to customer and internal queries, maintaining debtor's ledgers, investigating and resolving overdue accounts, and communicating issues that may affect branch operations.
">Main Responsibilities:- Responding to customer and internal accounts receivable queries;
- Maintenance of the debtor's ledger;
- Investigating and resolving any overdue accounts or irregularities regarding customer accounts;
- Maintaining accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date;
- Communication of issues that may affect branch operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate in Accounting or equivalent;
- Accounts experience, preferably for a retail organisation with demonstrated experience in the Collection and Accounts Receivable functions;
- A high attention to detail and a mindset for continuous improvement;
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Understanding of retail business transactions;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Time management, problem solving and effective interpersonal skills.
