
Experienced SIL Program Manager

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled leader to oversee the development of a new Supported Independent Living (SIL) program in Wyoming, Central Coast.
This permanent full-time position will provide quality care and services to residents with complex needs. As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for developing program schedules according to our participant's needs, day-to-day management, rostering of staff, and exceptional client/stakeholder engagement.
The role includes direct support with participants, managing a team of Residential Support Workers, and developing resident care/support plans in conjunction with all stakeholders. You will also participate in an on-call roster which includes staff and resident support outside normal business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- To lead and inspire a team of Residential Support Workers
- To develop and achieve person-centred plan objectives for our residents
- To communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure client outcomes are exceeded
- To undertake a variety of tasks including proactive problem solving, provision of personal care, enteral feeding, high physical support, and more
- To maintain all resident care/support plans in conjunction with all stakeholders, residents, families, and other service providers
- Participation in an on-call roster which includes staff and resident support outside normal business hours
Requirements:
- Experience in leading a Supported Independent Living (SIL) program
- Tertiary qualifications in appropriate areas desirable
- Sound knowledge of accommodation, group and/or shared living arrangements, and the needs of individuals with disabilities
- Proven ability to lead, develop a team, and foster teamwork
- First Aid Certification
- NSW Driver's Licence
- An understanding of NDIS, Disability Service Standards, and relevant legislation
- Completion of the mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You'
