Special Education Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education professional to join our school community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs.
  • Develop and deliver curriculum that caters to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure collaborative support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity.

 

Requirements:

  • Approval to teach Special Education.
  • Experience teaching students with Emotional Disturbance and Autism.
  • Strong classroom and behavior management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize data to plan for effective individualized support of student wellbeing and learning programs.
  • Ability to engage disengaged students from trauma backgrounds.
