Diverse Learning Needs Coordinator

This is a temporary full-time position designed to support the development of teachers and staff in catering for diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:- To enhance the capacity of teachers and other staff members to address diverse learning needs effectively.
- Provide comprehensive support options for students with varying requirements.
- Collaborate closely with staff, parents, and external professionals to promote student inclusion.
- A deep commitment to spiritual growth and development.
- Strong knowledge of English and Maths Curriculum, along with skilled teaching practices.
- Qualifications or studies in Special Education, or willingness to pursue relevant further education.
- Familiarity with Disability Standards for Education 2005 and Nationally Consistent Collection of Data.
- Implement quality differentiated teaching in regular classrooms.
- Make adjustments to accommodate specific needs in regular classrooms.
- Deliver targeted individual interventions within and outside regular classes.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Requirements:- Obtain a Working With Children Check prior to employment.
