Wollongong Private Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Midwife to join its Maternity unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a supportive environment and deliver high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team comprising experienced obstetricians, midwives, nursing staff, lactation consultants, and allied health professionals. Together, they will ensure exceptional women-centred care before, during, and after pregnancy.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team, and Shift Leaders.
- Deliver quality patient care in line with the care values and strategic direction of the hospital.
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience working as a midwife post registration.
- Experience in birth suite essential.
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team as required.
