**Caregiver Role Summary**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and with general mobility
  • Assist with medication and simple wound dressings
  • Support residents in community-based recreational and social activities

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or an equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in aged or community care or a passion to begin your career in aged care if you're studying or have recently become qualified
  • Adaptability, empathy and resourcefulness, and the ability to live our organisation's values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative and bold
