About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educator to join our team. As an active team member, you will be required to support the service in providing high-quality care and education for children.
Your Key Responsibilities
- To provide quality education and care to children, supporting their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.
- To contribute to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework.
- To develop positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and community members.
- To facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.
- To document children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Diploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.
- A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories, and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members.
