Role Overview

A highly skilled and dedicated Educator is required to join our team at St John's Child Care (Neutral Bay) in providing high-quality care and education for children.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that reflect the National Quality Standards and learning framework, as well as building positive relationships with children, families and the community.

About this role

This full-time permanent position requires a Diploma Qualified Educator who can provide quality education and care to children, facilitating their learning outcomes in accordance with the approved learning framework.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Contributing to the development of programs that meet the needs of children and reflect the approved learning framework;
  • Developing positive and respectful relationships with children, families and the community;
  • Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths and abilities;
  • Documenting children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A Diploma in Children Services or equivalent qualification;
  • Previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service;
  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework;
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members;
