Job Description:

SICE Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Junior Support and Maintenance Engineer to join its team in the ongoing preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring, and continuous upgrading of Operation Management and Control Systems (OMCS) and sub systems in operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preventative and corrective maintenance and monitoring of OMCS and Integrated Operation Management and Control Systems (IOMCS) in operation.
  • Coordination with clients, stakeholders, and operators in supporting SIDERA managed motorways.
  • Investigation and rectification of issues and defects in systems using SICE's Service Management tool.
  • Investigation and root cause analysis of complex problems impacting PLC and sub systems.
  • Assistance with implementation or testing of SICE projects under S&M scope.
  • Release and deployment of new system software releases.
  • Application testing: performing regression testing for system or application upgrades.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications in IT, Computer Science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in relevant roles is desired but not essential.
  • SQL Certification or equivalent experience or knowledge.
  • ITIL Certification (desired but not essential).
  • Knowledge of MS SQL databases, SQL queries, and commands.
  • Previous experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Zephyr, Confluence) or another Service Management tool is desirable.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
