We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our dynamic harvest teams in Southern Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.

About the Role:

As a seasonal worker with Programmed, you will play a crucial role in GrainFlow operations, facilitating grain receival and storage through a network of 15 storage centres across four states.

Diverse Roles Available:

  • Grain Samplers: Sampling and testing the grain, providing exceptional customer service to growers and suppliers, collaborating with the logistics team to ensure smooth grain flow, and utilizing data entry skills to accurately record sample details and results.
  • Grain Handlers: Receiving full training to operate and maintain grain storage machinery, safely loading and unloading grain from trucks and other equipment, employing efficient shovelling, sweeping, and handling techniques to maximize productivity, assisting with grain transfer and blending operations, and participating in bulk storage tasks, including tarping and bunker work, to preserve grain quality.
  • Weighbridge Operators: Full training provided for efficient weighbridge operation and record-keeping, greeting and assisting drivers entering and exiting the facility, accurately weighing and recording grain quantities for transactions, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory procedures, and providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries professionally.
  • Plant Operators: Safely operating and maintaining mobile equipment such as Front-End Loaders, Telehandlers, and Water Trucks, supporting the loading and unloading of grain trucks and railcars, assisting with general site maintenance and cleaning activities, working collaboratively with the team to achieve production targets, and prioritizing safety at all times and operating machinery following stringent safety processes.
