Business Development Manager

Our team seeks an experienced Business Development Manager in the Data Centre sector to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facing customers on-site and remotely, developing sales strategies for new and existing accounts within the Data Centre sector
  2. Conducting thorough customer assessments, suggesting tailored products, services, and solutions
  3. Creating and delivering persuasive sales bids, proposals, and presentations
  4. Designing and implementing long-term sales plans to protect, grow, and diversify customer relationships
  5. Ensuring consistent attainment of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  6. Establishing a robust customer base for promoting new business opportunities
  7. Preparing market analysis reports on competitor activity, emerging projects, and industry trends
  8. Crafting and submitting comprehensive proposals covering technical and commercial aspects of client requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record in sales with at least 3 years' experience and a relevant technical background
  • Background in Temperature Control markets is advantageous; experience with Load Bank in the Data Centre Sector, Rentals, is beneficial
  • Strong relationship-building skills, proactive approach, ability to think creatively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to develop stakeholder relationships and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Ability to work under pressure, delivering tasks on time with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivation, problem-solving skills, identifying issues, proposing solutions
