Digital Preservation Specialist

We are seeking a Digital Preservation Manager to drive the ongoing development and implementation of our digital preservation strategy.
Main Responsibilities:- To develop an in-depth knowledge of current and future needs of our digital collection.
- To provide high-level support for digital preservation formats, associated metadata, and standards.
- To manage unidentified digital formats and design new methods for managing complex digital records.
- To collaborate with IT staff to oversee and test the effectiveness of our digital storage solutions.
- Experience in leading teams and their performance.
- Proven experience with developing and maintaining professional networks.
- A degree in information studies, archival science, or conservation science, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Australian citizenship is required.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
