Lead Digital Preservation Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished professional to spearhead the development and implementation of our digital preservation agenda.
The successful applicant will cultivate a deep understanding of our current and future digital collection needs, provide high-level support for digital preservation formats, associated metadata and standards, and manage unidentified digital formats.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing procedures to ensure ongoing safety and access to digitised and digital born records.
- Crafting new methods for managing complex digital records.
- Collaborating with IT staff to oversee and test the effectiveness of our digital storage solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams and performance, proven expertise with professional networks, and a degree in information studies, archival or conservation science, or equivalent training and experience.
