Enrolled Nurse Role

Working as an Enrolled Nurse in the Surgical Inpatient Unit at our healthcare facility offers a unique opportunity to provide patient-centred care in a dynamic environment. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients and their families.

You will work across all specialty areas of the unit, supported by a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) and Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) on a rotating 7-day roster with various shift profiles available.   • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), including a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia–approved qualification for medication administration.
  • Previous experience in a surgical setting is advantageous.
  • Strong clinical communication skills are essential, along with the ability to use information technology effectively and communicate clearly through written, verbal, and interpersonal interactions.
  • A sound understanding of team nursing, with proven ability to contribute effectively within a multi-disciplinary health care team.
