Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer, you will:

  • Oversee daily operations within the service center
  • Assist the sales department in achieving financial targets
  • Advocate for safety standards and practices
  • Enhance customer relationships for long-term success
  • Facilitate communication between the workshop and clients
  • Track workshop performance and client outcomes
  • Act as the technical authority for both the workshop and clients
  • Deliver comprehensive technical calculations and designs
  • Prepare detailed reports on project progress
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality assurance protocols
  • Engage with clients regarding project estimations
  • Coordinate with suppliers for technical and commercial inquiries
  • Collaborate with engineering teams for reverse engineering projects
  • Manage both in-house and field projects
  • Utilize internal resources effectively to meet organizational goals
  • Participate in regular project update meetings

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Accreditation from Engineering Australia
  • Experience with steam or gas turbines
  • Proficiency in technical report writing
  • Expertise in cost management, estimation, contracts, and tenders
  • Exceptional communication skills
