The Duck Pond program provides care and social enrichment for children at a local Special Development School. Our daily activities cater to the unique needs and interests of each child, ensuring an enjoyable experience and a sense of support.

As a Disability Support worker, you will be part of a friendly team that values hard work and commitment. You will contribute to creating a positive and encouraging work environment that benefits everyone involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering individualized care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Using initiative to identify and address challenges and opportunities
  • Providing a safe and supportive environment for children with disabilities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with disabilities and challenging behavior
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative and problem-solve
  • Current WWCC, Police Check, and NDIS worker screening check
  • Full COVID-19 vaccinations
