Enterprise Architecture Governance Lead

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the evolution of our enterprise architecture governance framework.

The ideal candidate will spearhead consistency, integrity, and alignment across our technology landscape, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions that support long-term business sustainability.

This role plays a pivotal part in embedding architectural discipline across the organisation, with a strong focus on strategic asset management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive enterprise-wide architecture governance frameworks.
  • Foster collaboration through architectural review boards and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Establish and champion architectural standards, policies, and design patterns.
  • Oversee compliance, risk management, and regulatory alignment across technology domains.
  • Apply governance principles to the full lifecycle of assets for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Evaluate and implement tooling to support architecture governance and asset oversight.
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders to embed governance and resolve architectural conflicts.
  • Mentor architects and contribute to capability uplift across the enterprise architecture function.
  • Align architectural decisions with broader technology, network, and corporate strategies.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in leading enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Strong governance expertise and a track record of implementing architecture oversight.
  • Technical breadth across GIS, CMDBs, cloud platforms, data architecture, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead without direct authority across diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior-level engagement.
  • Pragmatic decision-making and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
