We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Fitter to join our team at MICO, Mt Isa QLD.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position that offers a FIFO, DIDO or residential opportunity. As a Heavy Equipment Fitter, you will work autonomously and as part of a team to ensure high-quality work. You will gain and expand your experience and knowledge of underground mining.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in an underground mining environment
- Work with CAT, Sandvik, and Volvo equipment
- Collaborate with the team to achieve quality and productivity goals
- Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting (essential)
- Proven experience working on underground heavy equipment (essential)
- Experience with CAT, Sandvik, and Volvo equipment (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- A positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
- A strong focus on safety
- A current Australian Manual Driver's License
- A National Police Clearance
