Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Education Coordinator to support the Chief Judge and other judges in community engagement, website management, and internal communications.

This role involves coordinating the Court's Schools Program, including operational requirements and promoting judicial engagement with the program.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be committed to service excellence within the public sector, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • Coordinating the Court's Schools Program, including all operational requirements.
  • Liaising with judges and their staff to promote judicial engagement with the program.
  • Supporting the Chief Judge and other judges in community engagement, website management, and internal communications.
  • Assisting in coordinating events, conferences, and meetings as required.

About Us:

The County Court of Victoria is established pursuant to the County Court Act 1958. It has original and appellate jurisdiction and is the principal trial court in the State of Victoria.

The Court hears over 11,000 criminal, common law, and commercial cases each year. We are committed to continuous improvement in accordance with the International Framework for Court Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the School's Program to ensure its successful delivery.
  2. Maintain effective relationships with judges and their staff.
  3. Provide administrative support to the Chief Judge and other judges.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Court's strategy.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the Court's operations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

This is a full-time, fixed-term role for 12 months offering a salary range of $72,751 - $88,336 plus superannuation.
