Join a leading financial institution and take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of risk management. As Senior Manager, Line 1 Risk, you will lead the development and delivery of our assurance strategy, ensuring it aligns with the broader Three Lines of Defence model.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work closely with teams across the Group, from Risk and Technology to Internal Audit and Transformation, to design and implement a control assurance plan tailored to our operating environment.

You will guide a team of assurance professionals, foster a high-performance culture, and provide clear, actionable reporting to senior stakeholders. This role also involves engaging with control owners and risk stewards, helping them understand findings and supporting them in planning next steps.

About You

  • You bring a strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and assurance frameworks, and you know how to apply these in a practical, business-focused way.
  • You are confident in audit and control testing techniques and comfortable working across both business and technology domains.
  • You are also curious about automation and data-driven approaches, and keen to explore how these can enhance assurance practices.
