Community Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in developing individual recovery plans with participants, incorporating their goals and aspirations.

You will work closely with participants to provide direct support, enabling them to achieve their goals and overcome challenges. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be essential in building strong relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need to hold a relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in providing high-quality recovery-orientated services to people experiencing mental health challenges.

You will also need:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in a social science or related discipline
  • Prior experience working within the Mental Health industry or community-based organisation
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written, including the ability to complete reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Current valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake travel for the role
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Right to Work within Australia
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check
