Medical Specialist
Description:As a civilian medical specialist, you will provide essential medical care and support to patients in the Australian Defence Force.
This role offers an opportunity to work in a challenging environment that provides professional growth and reward.
Key benefits include:
- Delivering primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures.
- Forming part of a multidisciplinary team working towards the shared purpose of achieving and maintaining the health and wellbeing of Defence members.
- Assessing Defence personnel for fitness for duty and providing care that supports the health and wellbeing of members pre and post deployments.
- Providing medical technical advice to senior officers and commanders.
You will be supported by a team of senior medical officers and colleagues. You may be required to work in an outpatient or inpatient setting within a ward.
